Introduction to the Project
“The “1+2.5 New Zealand Public University ‘Through Train’ Project” refers to the intercollegiate cooperation being carried out between the six public universities of New Zealand and domestic senior-high school academies. The curriculum offered by the project relies upon the combination of the rich educational management experience of domestic senior-high school academies and the advanced educational philosophy of New Zealand Foreigners University. In accordance with international advanced education standards, it has adopted all English language educational methods and makes use of New Zealand government designated undergraduate education materials.
After students complete the one-year domestic coursework (including English language foundation strengthening and the coursework required of college freshmen in their major), they may, without having to take the IELTS exam or taking other preparatory courses, directly proceed to our cooperative schools— Auckland University of Technology and the sister school of UNITEC Institute of Technology, New Zealand College of Science and Technology and study for one to one-and-a-half years, after which time, they may proceed to study at a related pubic university of New Zealand. Graduates will obtain an internationally recognized overseas Bachelors’ degree.
