The EB5 investment immigration plan is an immigrant visa category in the immigration laws established by United States for overseas investment.  For short it is known as EB-5 (Employment Based Fifth Preference). This type of visa has been available since 1991. When the American government created the Regional Center Pilot Program in the immigration laws in 1993, it relaxed the restriction on Immigration applications from "ten jobs must be directly created" to "must directly or indirectly create ten jobs". Among the many types of American immigration categories, the EB-5 has become a convenient channel with the shortest application time and with the least investment qualifications. 

According to the rules of an EB-5 visa, you can be qualified for an EB-5 on the basis of any of the following: 

1) 1,000,000 US Dollars for investment in any place in the United States and hire at least 10 employees

2) 500,000 US Dollars for investment in areas of low employment approved by the  US government and hire at least 10 employees

3) 500,000 US Dollars for investment in the Regional Centre approved by US government
