OUTSIDE CHANGCHUN

Star International has schools in many of the smaller towns surrounding Changchun, as well as within Changchun itself. It is in these smaller towns that teachers will find their most genuine experience of Chinese culture. They still provide a similar array of social and nightlife activities as Changchun, though they are much more limited and of a slightly different nature. With fewer other foreigners inhabiting the towns, teachers will really be able to immerse themselves into a true Chinese culture and learn the language much more quickly than in Changchun. These smaller towns are suited to independent people who are willing to integrate themselves into the Chinese community, as well as anyone who is seriously hoping to learn Mandarin.

None of these towns are too far from Changchun, and the furthest of these towns are no more than an overnight train ride away for any teachers wanting to experience Changchun city life for the weekend.
