The city of Changchun is in the very unique position for being able to provide its visitors with the best of both worlds. Being the largest city in Jilin Province, Changchun is host to wide range of nightlife activities, including bars, restaurants, KTV and pool halls. At the time, while still very much in its developing phase, Changchun still retains much of its Chinese traditional culture, and for those who like to get away from city life completely, is within easy access of the nearby countryside.
Any visitors to Changchun are recommended to visit Jingyue tan forest park, located at the edge of Changchun and covering 200 square kilometers, and Nanhu park which, although situated in the center of the city, is a perfect scenic area to relax or take a stroll both in the day or the evening. Visitors who are staying longer are also strongly recommended to try the Chinese KTV experience at least once, and eat barbecue on the streets during the summer evenings.
